The Vstar Talent Hunt & Mentoring Program for upcoming local artists, initially launched virtually in 2020, has been a remarkable success. Over the years, it has evolved into a hybrid format, incorporating both virtual streaming and in-person events. In 2023, we continued with the successful hybrid format, starting with auditions streamed live on the Vibrant Brampton Facebook page, followed by in-person semi-final and final rounds at the Cyril Clark Auditorium in Brampton.

This year, we were thrilled to receive a total of 120 entries, and out of these, the top 60 talented artists had the opportunity to showcase their skills during the audition round. Subsequently, they were given the chance to perform in person at an indoor auditorium, where the TOP 6 standout talents emerged as winners. These deserving winners were awarded trophies, and cash prizes and, just like in the past, were granted a much larger platform to perform alongside professional artists on the main stage of the Vibrant Brampton Festival in 2024. Moreover, they were provided with a valuable opportunity to network with other established artists and access mentorship programs to further nurture their talents. The festival was completed successfully, leaving behind a trail of achievement and fostering growth for these aspiring artists.
