Arts & Culture Initiative of South Asia (ACISA) is a non-profit organization with a vision to promote cross-cultural understanding with the aim of bringing a diverse community together in celebration of life, culture, art, and tradition.Our Projects – VIBRANT BRAMPTON, Visual Arts of South Asia-Arts Festival (V.A.S.A), and META Arts Fest, focus on promoting cross-cultural understanding, which is critical for the success of multiculturalism—one of the cornerstones of the Canadian constitution and economic growth.
Marketing Assistant ▼
⏱️ Duration: 8-Week assignment starting mid-Jun, 2026.
📅 Commitment: 30 Hours/Week

Job Duties:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of cultural events, including preparing event schedules, agendas, timelines, and coordinating with artists and performers.
- Support the development of sponsorship packages, partnership proposals, and promotional materials aligned with cultural programs and client needs.
- Assist in the execution and fulfillment of sponsor agreements, ensuring all deliverables and recognition elements are properly implemented.
- Coordinate with artists, performers, and cultural participants to gather required information, confirm participation, and support event preparation.
- Help organize event logistics, including program flow, performance order, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Collect event documentation, execution examples, attendance information, and partnership outcomes for post-event reports and recaps.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team and leadership, including preparing documents, tracking tasks, and assisting with event preparation.
- Collaborate with team members, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of cultural programs and events.
Qualifications:
- Youth between the ages of 18 – 30 years old (Canada Summer Jobs requirement).
- Currently enrolled or has completed post-secondary education (University or College) specializing in either event management, marketing, or public relations.
- Experience coordinating events of all sizes. Digital events are an asset.
- Social media skills are an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills.
- Must be able to work from home.
- Must be available to support ACISA events and initiatives, which includes digital events during weeknights and evenings.
Social Media Community Manager ▼
⏱️ Duration: 8-Week assignment starting the third week of June, 2026.
📅 Commitment: 35 Hours/Week

Job Duties:
- Support the Social Media Manager in planning and executing content related to cultural programs, events, and organizational initiatives.
- Assist in drafting captions, press materials, and content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
- Provide timely updates, event information, artist details, and program highlights to the Social Media Manager for content development.
- Help review scheduled content to ensure accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and consistency with organizational messaging.
- Monitor audience interactions and share relevant comments, messages, and community feedback with the Social Media Manager.
- Assist in organizing content assets such as photos, videos, artist information, and event materials for marketing use.
- Support campaign execution by coordinating with internal teams to gather required information and updates.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the marketing and communications team when needed.
Qualifications:
- Youth between the ages of 18 – 30 years old (Canada Summer Jobs requirement).
- Currently enrolled or has completed post-secondary education (University or College) specializing in either social media management, marketing, or public relations.
- Must have experience coordinating events of all sizes. Digital events are an asset.
- Social media savvy – must have experience managing social media content across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Graphic design skills are an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills.
- Must be able to work from home.
- Must be available to support ACISA events and initiatives, which includes digital events during weeknights and evenings.
Graphic Design Assistant ▼
⏱️ Duration: 8-Week assignment starting the third week of June, 2026.

Job Duties:
- Support the Multimedia Designer in creating and producing marketing materials for cultural initiatives and events, including flyers, posters, signage, and promotional videos.
- Assist in brainstorming and suggesting design concepts, layouts, and visual elements for event marketing and program materials.
- Help prepare creative assets and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials for campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for printing, production, and distribution of physical marketing materials.
- Assist in updating event-related content and creative assets on ACISA-affiliated websites when required.
- Maintain organized files of design assets, templates, and project documentation to ensure smooth workflow and easy access.
- Provide general administrative and production support for marketing initiatives, including sourcing materials, coordinating with teams, and assisting with day-to-day design tasks.
Qualifications:
- Youth between the ages of 18 – 30 years old (Canada Summer Jobs requirement).
- Currently enrolled or has completed post-secondary education (University or College) specializing in graphic design.
- Must have experience in graphic design skills.
- Social media skills are an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills.
- Must be able to work from home.
- Must be available to support ACISA events and initiatives, which includes digital events during weeknights and evenings.
