SHANTANU BANERJEE

Shantanu Banerjee is a multifaceted personality. A TV artist, theatre artist, radio artist, trained bollywood dancer, an accomplished Emcee and a gifted singer, Shantanu has done it all. He has shared the stage with some of India's leading bollywood singers and music directors like Asha Bhosle, Bappi Lahiri, Kumar Sanu, Jeet Ganguly and Usha Uthup.

He has starred in the TV serial ' Khwaish' which was a Balaji Telefilms production. He has acted in numerous hindi and Urdu plays in India and UAE. He was a regular feature in the leading Radio channels of UAE. 

Shantanu has performed in over 500 live musical shows in India, UAE, Middle East, UK and Canada. He has judged numerous musical shows.

Since he moved to Canada in 2019 and immediately caught the fancy of music lovers in Toronto. He is currently working on his music album and also looking forward to a series of musical shows in US and Canada this year. Shantanu believes entertainment runs in his blood and the stage is his second home.

Mrs. Kanan Bhatt, the founding director, is an acclaimed dance teacher and Choreographer of Bharatanatyam dance style. She holds Alankar (M.A. in Dance) from Gandharva Mahavidyalay, Amdavad and Nritya Kovid from Nalanda Dance Research Centre, Mumbai, India.

Currently, NKM trains young students in Bharatnatyam and Indian Folk dances at 3 different locations in GTA – Scarborough,Vaughan and Brampton.
