Fateh better known by his stage name Fateh Doe or mononym Fateh is a Toronto-based Canadian rapper and songwriter of Indian descent. His music career began in 2012 when he was discovered by Dr Zeus.

At the age of six his family moved to Hayward, California, U.S. where he started listening hip hop music. He attended John Muir Elementary School as a child and afterwards Hayward High School. Later his family relocated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Fateh began rapping in Canada and changed his name to Young Fateh and then to Fateh Doe. He released three mixtapes California State of Mind (2009), One Verse Curse (2010) and Mr Wall Street (2011). He also once tried to meet Dr Zeus at his concert in a nightclub in California so he could give him CDs of his mixtapes.

Fateh gained popularity when he was discovered by Dr Zeus in 2012. He was featured in many tracks with Dr Zeus. He also joined the band “Zoo Babies” and was featured in the debut album of the band. Fateh was than approached by many other artists including Amrinder Gill, Jaz Dhami, The PropheC and Gippy Grewal. He has also sung the song “Lovely” from 2014 Bollywood film Happy New Year. In August 2015, he released his debut solo single ‘Naiyo Jaan De’. He had also received four nominations ‘Breakthrough Act’, ‘Best North American Act’, and ‘Best Urban Asian Act’ at 2015 Brit Asia Music Awards.

Cheema belongs to a Jat Sikh family and was born in the near of Nurmahal. After completing his graduation He went to Canada. At school he was a captain of his hockey team. For higher studies Cheema joined Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. He joined the bhangra team of the college and won several prizes at College level, University level and Punjab level. Here a singer for the club, Balraj Singh Bassi, listened to him.

His most successful album was “Chandigarh Shaher Di Kuddi”. He has made rock with Boliyan and Gidha Beats. His smash hit Punjabi song Rangla Punjab from his album Mela Vekhdiye Mutiyare was released in 1996. His hits are billo teri tor vekh ke, Dhol Vajda, Rang rara riri rara, Bhangra, Nacho-Nacho, Khatta Doria, Chandigarh Shehar di kudi, Boliyan. Many times his albums’ music was produced by musician Sukhpal Sukh and Atul Sharma. Now he is working with musician Aman Hayer. He has sung many Boliyan in his albums. Cheema Has 2 Religious albums. He has 12 studio albums.

He started his Film career by appearing in the lead role in film “Pind Di Kudi” in 2004, with Sheeba Bhakri and Veena Malik. He then appeared in “Apni Boli Apna Des” in 2009. “Punjab Bolda” in 2012, starring Anisha Pooja, Gurchet Chitrakar, B.N Sharma, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol, Amarjit Cheema & More. He also acted in Punjabi film named “Haani” with Harbhajan Mann, and “Disney Daaro” with Baljit Malwa.

Company has presented original dance productions such as Dance Drama Hesperus 1838, Rajasthan Calling, With you Between Us, at prestigious festivals. The Company also organised “Generations together” bringing seniors, youths and adults on one platform. Company is a hub of many talented dancers and musicians working towards only one goal – promotion, preservation and perseverance of Indian ancient classical dance and music culture . Hemant Panwar is also a well known singer of semi classical and folk singing and has recently released two albums – Creator and Oh my Lord Rama. Vaishali leads choreography and costumes for the company.
