The Starzone

The Starzone is South Asia’s first Post-Ambient Band and a participant for Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 4, which officially recognizes them as one of the Top Bands of Pakistan. This Pakistani/Canadian indie band is led by female Singer-Songwriter Anum Zehra, along with Lead/Rhythm Guitarist Asjad Siddiqui. They compose and produce a soothing, appealing ambient sound which has won the hearts of several song listeners in the South Asian community.

Their debut track “Chalo Chalein” has been significantly praised by popular figures of Pakistani Music Industry such as Meesha Shafi, Bollywood actor Fawad Khan, and by renowned Pakistani band, Strings. Their second original “Taaron Ki Roshni” was an instant win amongst the crowd in Pepsi Battle of the Bands and introduced a new subgenre of unique ambient sound in the music industry.
