Samskara

Samskara is a Toronto based duo featuring tabla player Ravi Naimpally and guitar ace Anoop Isac. The duo explores South Asian music in a contemporary format. Drawing from the rich raga and tala vocabulary of India the listener is taken on a journey through a garden of fascinating rhythms and sonorous melodies. They are currently recording their first album which will be out in the fall of 2021.
