Sampradaya Dance Creations

Rachana Joshi, Hemantika Mahesh, and Nancy Thavarubin are a collective of three Bharatanatyam dancers under the tutelage of Lata Pada at Sampradaya Dance Creations. After completing their solo debuts, also known as the arangetram,  they longed to expand their traditional dance practice to develop their own autonomy and voice within their artistic journeys and cross-cultural identities. With their multidisciplinary dance backgrounds in Bharatanatyam, ballet, contemporary, Bollywood and more, they strive to create thought-provoking, innovative work that showcases their multifaceted abilities as dance artists and Indo-Canadians.
