Mamta started learning Hindustani classical music when she was 12 years old and started taking part in music competitions at a very young age and won awards. However, city life kept her busy until 2016 when she reconnected with music. She continues to learn from her teacher in India on Skype. Born and raised in Mumbai, she is a Punjabi at heart. She moved to Toronto in 2018 and recently started posting Song Covers on her YouTube Channel and Instagram handle to keep her passion for music alive.”
